В столица на археоастрономията се превръща Стара Загора

От 6 до 10 септември 2021 г. в Стара Загора ще се проведе 28-та Европейска конференция по археоастрономия. Тя се организира и провежда под егидата на Европейската организация за астрономия в културата. Създадена е през 1993 г. в Стара Загора по предложение на доц. Алексей Стоев след големия симпозиум „Оксфорд-4“, проведен също в града на липите и поетите.

„Европейските археоастрономи решиха преди 28 години, че ще създадем европейска организация по подобие на американците и ще работим по този начин по-ползотворно и целенасочено“- обясни доц. Стоев.

Съорганизатори на международното събитие са Астрономическа обсерватория „Юрий Гагарин“ Стара Загора, Институт за космически изследвания и технологии Стара Загора, Община Стара Загора, Софийски университет и Югозападен университет, с медийното партньорство на Dolap.BG.

По време на конференцията ще бъдат представени 72 доклада. Учените са от 19 държави , сред които Австралия, САЩ, Франция, Германия, Испания, Италия, Австрия, Швеция и др.

За съжаление, поради пандемичната обстановка 30 от докладчиците ще се представят онлайн, останалите – присъствено.

Темата тази година е „Праисторическата астрономия и древните наблюдатели на небето“.

Ще бъдат представени и обсъждани най-вече технологиите, чрез които древните ни предци са наблюдавали небесните тела, как са излъчвани и запаметявани данни, как технологиите са използвани за правене на календари и пр.

Сред интересните учени са полякът Станислав Иванишевски. Той работи в Университета в Мексико и е много голям специалист по централно- американските цивилизации и по-специално астрономическите им практики. Ученият от Германия изследва праисторическите календари в Западна Европа. Гостът от Австрия г-н Зот е много добър математик и въвежда математически модели при обяснението как астрономическите технологии на древността се отразяват на култовите практики по това време.

На форума археоастрономите от Стара Загора – доц. д-р Алексей Стоев, проф. Пенка Мъглова-Стоева, Надя Кискинова, Мирослав Костов , Ангел Манев и др. ще представят четири доклада.

„Първият доклад е за „Разчитането на календара в пещерата Магура“. Нашите археострономи работят по темата в продължение на 30 години, когато са направени естампажите ( копирането на място и пренасянето им в мащаб на хартиен носител) на скалните рисунки. Усилията ни са насочени да намерим ключа към разгадаването на записаното в рисунките, обясни доц. Стоев. – Намерили сме няколко отделни ключа. Вече сме разчели двете централни схеми от цялата галерия с рисунките. Те са свързани с изображението на антропоморфното слънце в т.н. „Слънчева зала“. Тук има разписан лунно-слънчев календар с отделни изображения.

Опитваме се да търсим писмената от онази епоха. Благодарение на тях е направено пиктограмно писмо, от което се ражда писмеността по нашите земи.

Вторият доклад ще бъде свързан с използване на светилище в района на скалния град Петрота в Гърция, който се намира точно срещу Самотраки. Там, заедно с гръцките археоастрономи нашите учени са на път да намерят едно от най-големите култови селища от праисторията на Балканския полуостров, което по онова време е било тракийско. По това време там не е имало гърци. Било е тракийски селищен култов център, който остава дълго време в историята.

Третият доклад е свързан с изследване на едно от най-високопланинските светилища на територията на България в района на Попово езеро, в планината Пирин. Там има изобразена схема на отражението на слънчевия диск в езерните води и наблюдението им от светилището. В точно определени дни на годината, това изображение на слънцето пада върху острова в центъра на езерото. Точно в този остров, слънцето се губи точно в деня на зимното слънцестоене. Няма такъв описан древен инструмент и то сред импозантната среда на високите планински върхове на Пирин. Светилището е на 2200 м. надморска височина, а околните върхове са на около 2650 м. Целият декор е фантастичен и е свързан със самите култови церемонии.

Четвъртият доклад, който е съвместен с археоастрономи от Югозападен университет, е свързан с изследвания и статистически обработки на данните от всичките изследвани 14 светилища, от които е наблюдавано слънцето. Опитваме се да видим в това някаква систематика. Някои азимути са били предпочитани. Искаме да разберем защо – дали заради релефа, заради култовете, заради социални проблеми в тогавашното общество и пр.“, обясни директорът на Обсерватория „Юрий Гагарин“.

Старозагорската археоастрономическа група е създадена от Алексей Стоев през 1979 г. Към нея се присъединява и съпругата му Пенка Мъглова, както и няколко по това време ученици. Тогава Стоев създава и първата школа по археоастрономия в Старозагорската астрономическа обсерватория. Много скоро тези ученици завършват училище, после – висше образование, стават специалисти и първият им учител започва да ги привлича да работят в археоастрономическата група.

„За изминалите над 40 години ние открихме и изследвахме напълно и публикувахме своите открития. Успяхме да заинтересоваме и археологическата общност към съответните обекти. Там бяха направени, ако не разкопки – сондажи, така че да се очертаят археологическите граници на обектите. Изследвали сме 14 обекта напълно и са публикувани. На световната научна общност успяхме да покажем, така наречените астрономически рисунки – рисунки с астрономическо-календарно съдържание в пещерата „Магура“, комплекса „Пещери“ край село Байлово, „Топчийка“ в Родопите, няколко малки пещери близо до Видин. Всичко това позволи да бъдем забелязани от колегите. Първоначално успяхме да привлечем световния интерес, като през 1993 г. успяхме в Стара Загора да проведем най-високия форум в областта на археоастрономията – „Оксфорд-4“. Това е серия от световни конференции по археоастрономия. Първата беше в Англия, втората – в САЩ, третата – в Англия и четвъртата – в Стара Загора, България.

По време на „Оксфорд-4“ беше проведена първата европейска сбирка на археоастрономите и беше учредено Европейското дружество на археоастрономите в културата. Графичният знак на обществото представлява лицето на Орфей, обърнато към звездите. Той е направен от български дизайнер“, обясни Алексей Стоев.

Т.е. интересът на света към Стара Загора и неговите специалисти археоастрономи не е инцидентен и нов. Освен това проф. Пенка Стоева и доц. д-р Алексей Стоев са експерти и координатори на ЮНЕСКО на Древното културното наследство за Балканите.

Официалното откриване на европейския научен форум е на 6 септември 2021 г. в 10:00 часа в залата „Америка за България“ на ГПЧЕ „Ромен Ролан“. Там ще се провеждат заседанията през първия ден. Работата през следващите дни ще продължи в залата на обсерваторията. Официалният език е английски.

Ще се организират няколко съпътстващи прояви: Посещение на големите културни институти в Стара Загора; две кратки екскурзии до Караново и Кабиле, както и до Етнографския музей в Пловдив. Там са поместени не безизвестните рабоши – древен календар на прабългарите, който е много оригинален принос в световната археология. Голямата екскурзия ще бъде до Казанлък – до всички могилни съоръжения, Бузовград със скално сечения паметник, Музей „Искра“ и т.н.

The conference venue is the Yuri Gagarin Public Astronomical Observatory. It is located on the roof of today’s Romain Rolland Foreign Language High School. The building has an impressive architecture, in the spirit of „modernized classicism“, built in the period 1939 – 1946. Sights of the city are within walking distance from the observatory.

We have 47 oral presentations and 9 posters, which will be printed and displayed in the Observatory Hall.
